Pamela Hare is an artist and printmaker living and working in London. She presents urban views of the city and of metropolitan cultures.
Her latest prints of Venice evoke a journey along labyrinth streets hung with silks, alongside canals of glittering water, across squares and past sunken palaces of peeling patinated stucco and graffiti codes while noticing enchanted doors.
She has been inspired throughout this journey by the changing views of Venice. She delves through myriad layers of materials and colours as a restorer would to find the essence of Venice as shown in her prints.
