Jo de Pear

Jo de Pear studied for her BA at Edinburgh College of Art and her MA in Printmaking at Chelsea College of Art.

She works in all the varied printmaking disciplines. Most recently she has been taking mono prints from the surface of old lace and doilies. What started as a means to archive family pieces has consequently lead to a suite of more contemporary coloured prints. Much of her recent work has focussed on family heirlooms, old photographs and keepsakes.

She has exhibited widely and has worked on many private and commercial commissions. Her prints are in the collection of The British Museum.
