Antoinette Momtahan

Antoinette uses etching and collographs to explore the tensions and freedoms of crossing physical and psychological barriers. She is working towards developing a series of sparingly-conceived visual characters that play within a structured space.

The series Scattered Sun is an exploration of how sunlight breaks through the trees when viewing the landscape on a moving train. Like staccato instead of sound it is short bursts of sunlight.

The series Daybreaking emerged from Scattered Sun using blue elements as a way of denoting the time of day.
